A farewell feast

As the semester comes to a quick close, I’m not the only senior juggling final projects while making plans for graduation. With the whole family coming for the weekend, and so many friends to celebrate with, the pressure is on to find the best bites in Boston for the grand finale.

Chew it Over

Fresh fruit and vegetable-based smoothies have become extremely popular with the growing interest in juice cleanses and clean eating. They’re faster than microwave breakfasts and easy to eat on the go.

Spring break steals

Spring break is right around the corner, and for many, that means a short getaway or trip home. But for those of you sticking around Boston, the closed dining hall and extra time are the perfect reasons to eat beyond our little corner of the Common.

Valentine’s sweetie-pie

Have your pie, and a second slice, too. This guilt-free dessert is the perfect way to give your Valentine’s Day a sweet ending.

Late night bites

Fortunately, these great neighborhood haunts are an easy walk from campus, and have kitchens serving surprisingly healthy bites to the night owls flocking from across Boston.

Chew It Over: giving the gift of health

These easy-to-make mixes can transform pancakes, hot chocolate, and, of course, cookies with a touch of seasonal flavor.

Best of food trucks

With all the mobile kitchens zipping downtown, it can be difficult to discern which ones are cooking meals that are good for both body and wallet.

Five breakfasts in a zap

No matter how early I set my alarm, I’m always running behind. With an Emerson workload, it sometimes seems skipping breakfast is the only way I’ll ever catch an elevator in Walker and make it to class.
