Emerson will update its website on Sunday in preparation for an anticipated overhaul in fall 2017, according to a school-wide email from Andrew Tiedemann, vice president for communications and marketing. The site’s refresh and future relaunch are a part of the college’s rebranding initiative.
Tiedemann wrote that this Sunday afternoon the site’s design and navigation will change to improve the college’s mobile presence.
“The updated website will include our current content and will serve the College until we can incorporate the findings of the ongoing identity and brand narrative initiative,” Tiedemann wrote.
Tomorrow, the site’s editing functions will freeze for faculty and staff, according to Tiedemann. On Sunday, Web Services and Information Technology will disable all the website’s forms except the search bar, the directory, and the admission portal, Tiedemann wrote. These features will be re-enabled on Monday, according to the email.
The website’s current design launched in May 2010.
