Monday, Oct. 24

A staff member reported having personal property stolen from them on Tremont Street after allowing a person to use their cell phone. The staff member was not injured in the incident.

 

A student reported being harassed and assaulted by an unknown male while walking in the area of the Colonial Building.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 25

An employee of Barnes and Noble at Emerson College reported the theft of t-shirts from the bookstore.

 

The Emerson College Police Department received a report of a person trapped inside an elevator in the Tufte Performance and Production Center. Elevator contractors freed the individual quickly and the elevator was put out of service for repairs.    

 

ECPD assisted the Boston Police Department with the arrest of a suspect that was trying to flee officers near the Ansin Building.  

 

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Contractors checking on steam pressure inside the Walker Building accidently set off a fire alarm. There were no fire or injuries to report.

 

Thursday, Oct. 27

While conducting an inventory of a lost and found, an ECPD officer found a small amount of marijuana. It was confiscated and the owner of the item was contacted.

 

Friday, Oct. 28

ECPD responded to a complaint of a disturbance at the Colonial Building.

 

Saturday, Oct. 29

ECPD responded to the Colonial Building in response to a harassment complaint.
