Monday, Oct. 31

An Emerson College Police Department officer on patrol noticed a person hiding behind a dumpster inside the loading dock at The Paramount Center. The person said they were trying to keep their clothes dry from the rain.

 

A fraudulent driver’s license was found in the lost and found. The license was sent to the Registry of Motor Vehicles.  

 

Tuesday, Nov. 1

A smoke detector was triggered above a grill in the Little Building dining hall. The alarm was most likely caused by cooking bacon.

 

Thursday, Nov. 3

A person with no Emerson affiliation reported to ECPD that they were punched while walking on Boylston Street near Boylston Place. The person did not know their assailant or why they were struck.

 

The Boston Fire Department and ECPD investigated an alarm at the Ansin Building. The alarm was set off due to a malfunction. The fire alarm company was notified and will investigate the malfunction.

 

Friday, Nov. 4

An ECPD officer confiscated a beer from a student who was drinking it on Boylston Street in front of the Visitors Center.

 

Sunday, Nov. 6

ECPD assisted the Boston Police Department in stopping a fist fight in front of the nightclub Whiskey Saigon. An investigation revealed that the fight started inside the club and spilled into the street.

 

ECPD removed an intruder from the Tufte Performance and Production Center. The person had no business with the college and refused to leave.
