Monday Mar. 30

The Emerson College Police Department and facilities management investigated a report of a student trapped inside an elevator in the Little Building. After facilities management was unable to free the student, an elevator contractor was notified to help.

A student had clothing stolen from a day locker inside the fitness center in the Little Building.

 

Tuesday Mar. 31

ECPD investigated a report of a delivery truck that got stuck and damaged the scaffolding inside Allen’s Alley.

 

Wednesday April 1

ECPD found a bicycle unsecured and vulnerable to theft inside the bike storage room.  ECPD confiscated the bike for safe keeping, and a student later went to ECPD to claim their property. 

ECPD conducted a field interview of a man who was making students feel uncomfortable as they passed by him in front of Piano Row.  He was asked to leave the area.

 

Thursday April 2

A student had their wallet stolen while at the Thinking Cup. 

ECPD and facilities management responded to the Little Building for a student stuck inside an elevator.  Facilities management quickly was able to free the student from the elevator, and the elevator was taken out of service until it could be repaired.

 

Saturday April 4

ECPD patrol officers found the door to the bicycle storage room propped open.  The officer found the door’s electronic mechanism to be broken and facilities management was notified for repair.

 ECPD investigated a report of graffiti written inside an elevator in The Paramount Center. Facilities management was notified to remove it.
