Monday, April 6

The Emerson College Police Department and facilities management investigated a carbon monoxide alarm coming from the roof of the Little Building.  The cause of the alarm was a malfunctioning carbon dioxide detector. 

A student reported receiving a series of harassing telephone calls that were apparently trying to scam money from the student.

 

Tuesday, April 7

ECPD received a report of a 911 hang up call from the Boston Police.  ECPD found a student who said she may have accidentally dialed 911 “when dialing out.”  Boston Police was notified that everything was fine.

A student reported that someone had stolen their wallet while inside the Boston Common Coffee Co. on Washington Street.

 

Wednesday, April 8

ECPD and the Boston Fire Department responded to Piano Row for a fire alarm.  The fire alarm was caused when someone inadvertently bumped into a pull station. 

 

Thursday, April 9

ECPD investigated a person that was causing a disturbance inside the Print and Copy Center.

 

Saturday, April 11

ECPD and Boston Fire responded to the Stage Nightclub for a fire alarm. It was discovered that a haze machine used during a performance caused the incident.  Nightclub management was told not to use the machine until it could be properly inspected.

 

Sunday, April 12

An ECPD officer on patrol found the entrance to Einstein Bros Bagels unlocked.  A search of the premises was made and nothing appeared out of place.  The officer secured the area upon exiting the location.

ECPD received a report that “kids” wearing Emerson College jerseys were vandalizing a statue and dragging a marble piece across the Boston Common.  Several ECPD patrol officers investigated the caller’s claim, but were unable to find evidence of such activity.
