Monday, Sept. 8

The Emerson College Police Department and Boston Fire Department responded to three separate fire alarms. The first, at 1:11 p.m. in the Little Building, was caused by a steam leak in the sub-basement. The second and third fire alarms in Piano Row, at 2:34 p.m. and 3:24 p.m. respectively, were caused by students burning food inside a microwave. No fires or injuries were reported. 


Tuesday, Sept. 9

A student reported the theft of personal property left unattended in Boston Common.

ECPD officers confiscated a pipe from a student after staff from the Office of Housing and Residence Life smelled marijuana coming from a Piano Row suite.


Thursday, Sept. 11

Students reported a male following a student on Boylston Street. ECPD interviewed the male and issued a no-trespass notice from the college.

An ECPD officer on patrol found a male smoking marijuana near the loading dock area of Paramount. The officer interviewed him, confiscated the marijuana, and asked the man to leave the area. He had no Emerson affiliation. 


Friday, Sept. 12

A student reported the theft of her wallet while walking on Stuart Street.

A student reported the theft of her iPhone after she left it in a Little Building bathroom.
