According to the email, Roberts-Breslin started teaching in the visual and media arts department at Emerson in 1990. Since then, she has acted as the graduate program director in either the master’s or master’s of fine arts VMA program since 1998, and has acted as chair of faculty assembly from 2011 to 2013.

She is also the author of “Making Media: Foundations of Sound and Image Production,” and has had her film work featured on PBS, at film festivals, and at the Institute of Contemporary Art.

According to the email, Roberts-Breslin will work with faculty and administration to strengthen current graduate programs, as well as creating new ones.
