Tuesday, January 22

The Office of Housing and Residence Life (OHRL) submitted a conduct report that underage students in Piano Row were in possession of alcohol on Dec. 18. 

 

Thursday, January 24 

The Emerson College Police Department (ECPD) assisted OHRL after staff members smelled marijuana coming from a Little Building room. The ECPD confiscated the marijuana, storage containers, and drug paraphernalia. Officers catalogued these items and stored them in ECPD office for safekeeping. 

 

Friday, January 25

OHRL reported five instances of alcohol or drug offenses from Jan. 14 to Jan. 19. These incidents occurred in Emerson dorm buildings.

 

Saturday, January 26

OHRL reported drug paraphernalia found in the Little Building. The items were confiscated for possible college judicial action.

 

Sunday, January 27

The ECPD and the Boston Fire Department (BFD) responded to a fire alarm in the Paramount Theater. Officers determined that broken sprinkler pipe inside the old box office caused the alarm. The water was shut off and Facilities Management was notified for cleanup work.

The ECPD and BFD responded to a fire alarm in the Paramount Center. The investigation revealed a broken sprinkler head in the General Room on the second floor catwalk of the loading dock. The water was shut off and Facilities Management was called for cleanup and repairs.


Entry of the Week

Monday, January 28 

An ECPD officer on patrol found water leaking from the ceiling tiles inside office suite 121 in the Little Building. Facilities Management was notified. Officers determined the leak was caused by cleaners used in a power washer in the dining hall.
