Tuesday, November 13
A student reported the theft of his backpack from the Emerson Café. The theft is under investigation by Emerson Police.

Wednesday, November 14
A Securitas guard at the Paramount Center reported a student had past them without showing proper identification.  The student was found by Emerson Police and made to show ID.

Friday November 16
Emerson College Police Department responded to a trash can fire in front of the Little Building. Upon arrival officers found the trash smoldering.  The fire was extinguished with a fire extinguisher.

Sunday November 18
ECPD and Boston Fire Department investigated a fire alarm from the Emerson Café.  The cause of the alarm was an employee creating steam while cleaning a grill.  There was no fire.

Tuesday, November 20
An employee of the Barnes and Noble Bookstore reported someone shoplifting. The suspect took several sweaters and a set of headphones.

An Emerson Student was a victim of an unarmed robbery in the vicinity of The Courtyard Marriott on Tremont Street.  The suspects approached the student and demanded his laptop computer and cellular telephone before fleeing on Tremont Street towards the South End.  The victim was not injured.   Boston Police were immediately notified and are handling the investigation.

Wednesday November 21
A staff member from the Office of Housing and Residence Life found a sword inside a student’s room while conducting Thanksgiving break room checks. The sword was turned over to the ECPD and the matter is being adjudicated by the College Conduct Coordinator.
