It was brought to my attention via the front page of the April 12 edition of The Beacon that two new Emerson publications have taken off. Unfortunately, the same article managed to overlook arguably one of the bigger publications, The 1880.

Managing at least one new post per weekday, The 1880 provides students with an up-to-date look at goings-on in and around Boston, including the Emerson College campus. Highlighting events, news and all things collegiate, The 1880 is a new publication that shouldn't be left out of these other newcomers. As a school that prides itself on communication, we mustn't overlook all outlets for student expression.
