Jan. 23
Police took a student to NEMC for a back injury.
Police received a call from the office of Housing and Residence Life of marijuana use on the third floor of 150 Boylston St. Disciplinary action was taken.
Jan. 24
Officers on patrol found two individuals not affiliated with Emerson smoking marijuana in the alley of 10 Boylston Pl. Officers ran the individuals for warrants, the drugs were confiscated and the men removed without incident.
Jan. 25
Officers received a call of an altercation between two Aramark employees on the second floor of 80 Boylston St. The fight started over the firing of one of the employees. Both individuals were sent home for the day with the fired one being told that if he returned to campus, he would be arrested for trespassing.
Police responded to a call of larceny at 150 Boylston St. Someone had stolen some MBTA access cards from the office of a staff member in change of handing the cards out to off campus students.
Jan. 26
Police received a report of two underage drinkers in 150 Boylston St. When police arrived the individuals were highly intoxicated. The Resident Director on duty was called to discipline them.
The manager of the Equipment Distribution Center reported a camera missing or stolen. The incident in under investigation.
Jan. 27
Two students were brought to the NEMC by Police for flu-like symptoms.
Jan. 28
Security at 120 Boylston St. reported a bird flying around the sixth floor. Police called facilities to get rid of the bird.
Jan. 29
Boston Police alerted Emerson Police to a student shoplifting food from a store on Cambridge St. The owner decided not to press charges, however, the Boston Police asked Emerson to file a report for the student. The matter will be handled internally.
