Heartfelt respects
Dear Emerson community,
The Student Government Association of Emerson College is deeply saddened by the construction accident that claimed the lives of three people on Monday afternoon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of those who lost their lives in that tragedy.
Although many of us did not know the men who were killed on Monday, we all share in the grief of this situation.
Two of the three people who lost their lives were working high above us all to create a new residence hall for our students to live in and to utilize in the years to come. The third man was an innocent physician who was driving down Boylston Street as the accident occurred.
There are no words to describe the loss of human life in such an accident.
There is no way to explain it. There is nothing that can be said or done to undo the pain that has been done.
Our Emerson College community mourns this terrible tragedy and we hope that we all remember and celebrate the lives of these three innocent people in the years to come.
The SGA encourages all students who were affected by this tragedy to contact the Counseling Center for guidance and support.

A correction
Dear Editor,
I just wanted to make a correction.
In last week's article about the cost of print credits being lowered, you cited me, Lee Noble, as the editor of comedy publication "Laügh Magazine."
Actually the name of the magazine is Laüph. L-A-Ü-P-H. That's spelled with a "P" and not a "G". They're two entirely different letters.
Spelling it with a "G" makes it seem like the name of our magazine is similar to the word "laugh," and though we are a comedy magazine, we would never be so stupid and obvious as to actually call ourselves Laugh Magazine.
What kind of idiot would name a comedy magazine Laugh? Not this kind, I promise you.
Readers will note also that there is an umlaut in our name.
That makes it even more different than the word "laugh!"
It also indicates that it should be pronounced 'l`ou-f'. Like the word "loud," or "couch," or "Bauhaüs."
So keep all this in mind, and please do double check your material. It's really not that difficult. LAÜPH.
